James Shelton Endowed Scholarship Fund

Created by the Men’s Lacrosse Alumni Network to establish an endowed scholarship fund to honor James Shelton. James was a beloved Marymount shuttle driver who retired in 2006 after 20 years of service and was known for his positive nature, loyalty, team-first attitude and commitment to Marymount. This scholarship is awarded to a first-year (Freshman or Transfer) who maintains a minimum 2.5 GPA (high school or college) the semester prior to enrolling at Marymount. The recipient must demonstrate leadership qualities through extracurricular actives as well as community involvement.

• Submit two letters of recommendation documenting their leadership qualities and community involvement
• 100-150 word essay on: “How you have developed into a leader”
