Irma Peiteado Suarez Endowed Scholarship

The Irma Peiteado Suarez Scholarship was created in 2021 in memory and celebration of the life of Irma Peiteado Suarez, mother of Marymount University’s seventh President, Dr. Irma Becerra. This scholarship will provide financial support for a first generation undergraduate student with financial need. Candidates must be an interior design or fashion design major and at the time of awarding be a sophomore, junior, or senior. Candidates must be in good academic standing. If no candidates meet all of the criteria, the interior design faculty and financial aid staff will select the student who best fits the criteria.
