Teague Matthew Guy Endowed Scholarship
The Teague Matthew Guy Endowed Scholarship was established by family and friends to honor the life of Teague Matthew Guy. Teague was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, a chronic genetic lung disease, as an infant, and underwent a double lung transplant while he was a student at Marymount. Despite his health challenges he did not dwell on the negative but rather endured the challenges and made the best of every day. Teague persisted in his academic studies and graduated from Marymount in 2019 earning a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a minor in Philosophy. Criteria: The recipient will be a current Marymount student who demonstrates a passion for and commitment to learning and who has chronic health issues or physical challenges.
